Georgia State Championship series #2 – McClellan trails – Anniston, Al

GSC round two was held in the beautiful mountains surrounding Anniston Alabama (yes we are aware that it was not in Georgia but it is pretty close) on an awesome weather and race day. This trail is located on the McClellan military base and features lot’s of fast and fun filled trail, even though there is plenty of climbing the ripping downhills can make it seem like it downhill all the way.

Nicholas Van Winkle turned the fastest laps of the men and covered 25 miles in 1:39:20 and Carolyn Maddox was the fastest of the women’s classes.
