Coconut Cup series #4 – Amelia Earhart Park – Hialeah, Fl
After a chilly start to new year of racing it was reassuring to have a really nice weather weekend for a change. The sun was shining, the temps were in the 70’s all day the trail was in perfect shape which made for lot’s of smiles all around. The Amelia trail crew had set up a 6.9 mile course that was at it’s prime, many thanks for all of the hard work!
Angel Rodriguez came ready to race after a very successful FSC season and took home the overall win on the day averaging 16.5 mph over 27.6 miles. Patricia Doring also showed a strong ride in the women’s expert class winning by over 30 seconds.
Next CC of the series is February 9th at Oleta River park in North Miami.
