Coconut Cup #6 – Markham Park – Sunrise, Fl
Continuing a string of good weather events for the CC series the sixth round was classic Markham park style racing, fast and techie. The Markham park trail builder club had the trails in super shape and along with their marshaling of the race once again proved to be a big plus for this race. The loop was set up for 6.4 miles while the kids course was a long (by kids course standards) 2.4 miles.
Big winners on the day were Rafael Segura in the men’s elite and Simone Berger in the women’s top class. Thanks to all of the series sponsors. The final race of the series will be held in North Miami on March 27th.
