Georgia State Championship series #3 – GIHP Trails – Conyers, Ga  

Dodgie weather but it turned out perfect for the third round of the GSC series at Conyers, although we did get some rain on Friday the wet stuff held off the rest of the weekend and the racers were treated to a great course conditions and a bit of an unexpected cool off to boot, as temperatures dropped into the lower seventies for most of the day.

The 7.1 mile course is always a fun and fast jaunt through the woods but it does provide a couple of climbs that will get your attention and this year was no different. Tanner Dorshimer took the overall honors with his win in the men’s cat 1 class and averaged 14.6 mph in the process of racing four laps. Top female on the day was Ryann Slechta on her way to the win in the women’s junior cat 1/2.
