FSC showdown at san felasco

Specialized Florida State Championship series #5 – San Felasco Trails – Alachua, Fl It took till the middle of October but the “fall” series or FSC finally got some slightly fall like weather, a cold front (if you want to call it that) moved in Saturday night and lowered the temperatures from the 90’s to the low 80’s and humidity was almost nonexistent, plus Mother Nature dropped just enough water on the course to make it perfect. The Friends of San Felasco trail crew did a super job getting everything ready and also marshaling the race as nearly 250 racers

Specialized Florida State Championship series #3  – Hanna park – Jacksonville, Fl The end of Summer is now in sight as the temperatures and humidity took a turn downward this weekend and that along with a well timed mid week rain made for awesome conditions for round three of the series. The beachside 7.7 mile course features lot’s of twists and turns along with a healthy dose of roots which makes this course one of the tougher challenges on the circuit despite being relatively flat. The SORBA JAX club once again did an amazing job getting everything ready for the

FSC kick off in Tally

Specialized Florida State Championship series #1 + TT + E MTB. The first round of the 2021 FSC kicked off back in it’s traditional location at Tom Brown park in Tallahassee after missing a year due to covid restrictions and it came a few weeks earlier than normal due to college football schedules that block out lodging opportunities, so yes we started the series in August (not normal) and yes it was hot but not unbearable, oh then there was a hurricane in the region (more on that later). The Tallahassee Mountain Bike Association had the course in super shape

Highway to Helen, GSC Final

Georgia State Championship series (GSC) #6 It has been a tradition that the last round of the GSC series happens in Helen, Ga and this year was no different, it also seems to be a tradition for the weekend’s event to have to deal with rain at one time or another, this year it came down right after the start of the first wave making an already challenging course even tougher. This historic trail that was used in the 1990’s to host national profession races is considered a climbers course and although the route that was used was only 6.5

FLORIDA ENDURANCE SERIES #7 – SANTOS CLASSIC – GREENWAY TRAILS – OCALA, FL The drought was broken this week in Central Florida and with the coming rainy season comes the heat and humidity and there was plenty of it on hand for final round of the FLE series. BEATA WRONSKA TAKES A WIN AT THE BUMP

Georgia State Championship  Make up + Bump N Grind – Oak Mountain State park – Pelham, Al A cold front moved in on Memorial weekend in Alabama bringing the temps down to the fifties but then warming up nicely during the day, not what most were expecting but a welcome change. A nice turnout also for this annual event which had kids races, downhill and even unicycle races on Saturday. Sunday’s action was hot and heavy with the cool temps and maximum traction provided by the Friday rain. In the men’s top class it was Jerry Dufour with the win and in
