South Eastern Regional Championship / Georgia State Championship  #3 – Ft Yargo State Park – Winder, Ga

Well this is becoming a pattern, rain on Saturday and good conditions on Sunday. The forcast was for the wet stuff to fall on Saturday and clear up on Sunday and it did but it also made a for great trail conditions for the racers. The course was set at 11 miles this year with the bypass of the infamous “monster mile” section and replaced with the “three step” section and the fastest lap of the day was set by Douglas Gambarota at 41:21. Top male rider of the day was last years champion Jesus Martinez and top female was Simone Berger both had their hands full as the finishes were wheel to wheel in both classes. Series leaders jerseys remainded the same however at Nick Mackie and Amy Talbot both will carry the jerseys to the next round in Jackson, Ga.  Many thanks to the NORGA team for helping out with the road crossings again this year!
