Coconut Cup series #4 + TT – Almelia Earhart Park – Hialeah, FlIt was a busy weekend in South Florida for mtb racers as both the Coconut cup and the FSC series had lot’s of points up for grabs in Hialeah. The Saturday race was the CC series Time Trial and it can also be used as a make up for the FSC bonus rounds so that meant there were plenty of riders that made the trip down from North and Central Fl. Florida State Championship series #7 + Coconut Cup #3 – Caloosahatchee Trails – Alva, Fl The FSC series seems to be moving at lightning speed as round seven is now in the books and also the CC series is now up to round three. It was another very pleasant weekend for the racers of both series weather wise with mild temperatures in the low eighties and fast dry trail conditions. Florida State Championship series #6 – San Felasco Trails – Alachua, Fl Beautiful fall weekend in North Central Florida cool crisp air and fast dry conditions for the FSC racers at round six, the 11 mile course has had some recent maintenance thanks to the Friends of San Felasco trail crew and also many thanks to the club for keeping the riders safe by marshaling the event. Florida State Championship series #5 + Short Track + EMTB – Harpe park – Lakeland, Fl Another great weather experience at round five of the FSC which was also a makeup race weekend for the Coconut Cup.  The Ridge Riders Mountain Bike Association or RRMBA was out in force and had prepped the 6.7 mile course to perfection despite the dry spell, many thanks to all that they do for the sport! Coconut Cup series #1 + ST – Dyer Park – West Palm Beach, Fl After a string of wet events at Dyer park it was great to have a dry (or not at least not wet) race. There were threats of rain all weekend and even a few sprinkles now and then but Mother Nature apparently was just playing with us, the conditions were actually great, even the temperatures were nice hovering in the mid 80’s. Florida State Championship series #2 – Hanna Park Trails – Jacksonville, Fl The second stop on the FSC ’25 tour was in Jacksonville at the popular seaside Hanna park, the heat rolled back in this weekend along with the humidity which is kind of fitting for this jungle like trail system. The trails feature lot’s of twists and turns and is know as a rider’s course vs a power course.
